Design & Consultation Phase
Policies governing project initiation, design discussions, and preliminary floor plans:
- Initial Booking / Consultation Fee: The initial consultation fee or booking fee that you pay to secure design services is not refundable after the first design session or site measurement visit has been completed.
- Pre-Execution Cancellation: If a client decides to cancel a project after the consultation but before the final 3D designs are approved and before procurement starts, a partial refund may be given after the cost for design hours, site visits, and 2D/3D rendering work that has already been delivered is deducted.
Manufacturing & Execution Phase (Custom Work)
Protocols for customized modular carpentry, woodwork, and factory production:
- Custom Modular & Furniture Orders: Once the client has approved designs, material choices, and technical drawings and production has started, The Wooden Strings does not accept cancellations or changes, and any payment made for production is not refundable.
- Bespoke Exclusions: Custom-built items cannot be exchanged because they are made specifically for the individual client.
Products & Decor Purchases
Guidelines for standalone decor, loose furniture, and catalog pieces:
- Defective or Damaged Items: If a single decor item or made piece arrives broken, defective, or very different from the sample that was approved, you must report the problem within 24 to 48 hours after delivery. The Wooden Strings will check the problem and offer a free repair, a replacement part, or a new product.
- Change of Mind: The Wooden Strings does not accept returns or refunds for products if the client has changed their mind after the product has been delivered and installed.
Refund Processing
If management approves a refund, such as for payments or for a pre-production project cancellation that follows the agreed terms, The Wooden Strings will return the money to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
